August 2020:I'm falling in love with these characters more and more the more I dwell on the books I've read。 I am so excited to keep reading this series。I love all the relationships between each character and all the unique relational problems that are rising up。 I really think the relationships are what make the novels so good。 The plot is cool， and I loved the concept of dream thieves， but its Noah， Gansey， Ronan， Adam and Blue that really make me keep reading。I can't wait to see what's in sto August 2020:I'm falling in love with these characters more and more the more I dwell on the books I've read。 I am so excited to keep reading this series。I love all the relationships between each character and all the unique relational problems that are rising up。 I really think the relationships are what make the novels so good。 The plot is cool， and I loved the concept of dream thieves， but its Noah， Gansey， Ronan， Adam and Blue that really make me keep reading。I can't wait to see what's in store for the rest of the series。 I have some predictions about what is going to happen and I'm anxiously awaiting getting some answers to questions I have。 And I really need Adam to be happy。 I want to know more about Noah。 I need Blue and Gansey to be together。 I want Ronan to be happy and need him to find his chill and be at peace。 I can't wait to keep reading。I feel like I don't have much to say about these books， but they are super entertaining and fun to read。 I really like the banter and atmosphere。 These books make me wish I had paid more attention in Latin class。2nd read through （may 2021）: I loved this so much more the second time。 I loved Ronan's journey of self acceptance and Adam's too。 I loved the building tension between blue and gansey！ It was all done so well。 I feel like this book is where the series really kicks off 。。。more

A good sequel to the first book， with more focus on Ronan and his character， which I loved。 The little crumbs we got of blue and Ganesy made me feel 14 reading YA again， I cant wait to see more of them in the next books。 It’s definitely interesting and a very unique plot， however one critique is that it almost takes too long to get to the main issue of the actual story。 There’s lead ups but it always takes until the last 100 or so pages to really kick off。 A great saga nonetheless！
